Oberk APS soap introduces a new dimension to car care, serving as a hybrid between a car wash soap and an all-purpose cleaner. This unique product not only enhances the washing process but also ensures safety. Oberk APS is plant based, scent free, and naturally biodegradable to be eco friendly and compliant with all regulations. This is an alkaline based soap that will strip waxes and sealants, and works great as a prep wash for a heavily contaminated ceramic coated vehicle. The formula was developed to cover challenges in the car wash process whether washing vehicles in the north, that often operate in snow, as well as the mobile detailers who are always subjected to washing vehicles outside in the least ideal environments. The signature StayWet technology has extreme lubrication for gliding over the surface and avoiding the risk of scratching or damaging the vehicle, but also increased longevity before drying out. When used in conjunction with 100% filtered water, it can easily be used by professional detailers who work outside to minimize soap drying on the surface.

This soap concentrate has a pH of 9.5 (slightly alkaline) and has extremely great cleaning and stripping properties for removing all the dirt and grime from the surface and leaving a bare surface to prepare for paint correction. While this formula will strip waxes, sealants, and spray silica sealants, it works perfectly for maintaining coated vehicles, as it keeps buildup from clogging the coating and reducing hydrophobic properties.

If used in a heated pressure washer or on a regularly maintained vehicle, it can be used as a touchless wash by foaming on the surface, then pressure washing to rinse the soap and grime, and then proceeding to dry the vehicle.

APS is not a thick foaming soap, but rather one that lifts, pulls, and drops the dirt from the surface down to the ground. Caution for use with vehicles that have raw aluminum or other very sensitive materials. Typically if used in a foamer, it is used to prewash. Directions/Precautions:

We recommend the vehicle being in the shade and the paint cool to touch. Applying to hot paint or direct sunlight can cause drying, water spots, and short work time.
NOTE - Always make sure the surface is wet before applying product. If concerned, always try a test spot.

PH 9-9.5

Bucket Wash:

Add 0.5 oz per gallon for heavy cleaning. (Ex: 2.5 oz for 5 gallons of water)
Use 0.25 oz per gallon for lightly soiled vehicles. (Ex: 1.25 oz for 5 gallons of water)

Foam Cannon:

2 oz per 16 oz bottle or 4 oz per 32 oz bottle.
Touchless Wash: When used with a heated pressure washer or on a well-maintained vehicle, APS can act as a touchless wash. Simply foam onto the surface, allow to dwell, then rinse thoroughly with high-pressure water and dry the vehicle.

Bug Remover:

Mix 1:7-1:8 in a foaming sprayer, spray directly on the surface, scrub, and rinse (Ex: for a 16 oz bottle use about 1.5-2 oz of APS solution, or 3-4 oz in a 32 oz bottle).
If used in extreme conditions like love bugs, etc., it can be safely mixed up to 1:4 in a foaming sprayer for a powerful cleaning experience.

Light Exterior Cleaning or Engine Bay:

Mix 1:7, spray directly on surface, scrub, and rinse (Ex: for a 16oz bottle use about 1.5-2oz of APS solution).

Leather and Interior Plastics:

Mix 1:15 for a perfect OEM finish without streaking or rinsing (1 oz per 16 oz bottle).

Wet Sanding Slip:

Add 1-2 drops of APS concentrate per 2 gallons of water to provide a slick surface that doesn’t bind when wet sanding with a block. Additionally, this solution helps flush and clean the residue without reducing the cutting ability of the abrasive paper like a lubricant typically would. The lubricity of the “stay-wet” technology is just enough for a smooth sanding experience.
