Rupes DA White Ultra Fine Finishing Foam Pad
High-Performance Ultra Fine Finishing Foam Pad
The D-A ULTRAFINE foam pad features a special formula that is strong enough to work with any dual-action polisher while being soft enough to polish the most delicate and haze-prone paints to a mirror-like luster. Use this pad on gear-driven or random orbital polishers with RUPES UNO PURE ultra-fine polish to remove extremely fine defects or to burnish paint to a show car finish. Tips for success:
- Pair this pad with RUPES compounds for best results.
- Priming process for foam pads (video): mark an 'X' on the pad's surface with compound. Run the tool at speed 2 for 20 seconds to prime the pad.
- Apply an additional 1-4 small dots in the remaining empty spaces and begin the polishing process.
- Reload the pad with small amounts of compound, typically only a few drops. Oversaturating the pad with compound can lead to diminished performance.
- Clean pads frequently during use with compressed air, a vacuum, or the RUPES claw pad tool to maintain consistent performance.
- After use, clean pad with warm water and a mild soap, rinse well to remove residues, and air dry.
- Avoid the use of solvent-based compounds and cleaners to prevent damage to the pad's structure.
- Use a minimum of two pads per vehicle, swapping in 15-minute intervals.
