Tested in real-world conditions from 50°F to 122°F, CQUARTZ Lite 2.0 performs flawlessly whether applied indoors or outdoors and even when it's windy.
With a solid durability of 2 years, Lite 2.0 has also become more durable. Lite 2.0 offers excellent protection against chemicals, UV rays, and environmental contaminants. Like all CQUARTZ coatings, it delivers that signature depth, gloss, and long-lasting resilience detailers have come to expect from CARPRO. Specifications:
- Durability: 2 years.

Directions:
* If you have never applied a ceramic coating, then do a single test section and check properly in high ambient light before moving on to the rest of the vehicle.
- Wrap a 4" Microfiber Suede around the black side of the applicator block or use the Microfiber Applicator.
- Shake CQUARTZ Lite 2.0 and carefully open the lid, always pointing AWAY from your face.
- Drag or drip one or two lines of product across the applicator.
- Spread across paint in an overlapping circular pattern approximately 2 sq ft at a time.
- Move to next section and repeat.
- Make note of how long it has been since you began applying, and make sure to wipe off all residue within 5 ~ 30 minutes. (If using in the sun or high heat, then keep it to 5 minutes.)
- An additional coat may be applied if you wish within 45-60 minutes of the start of the first.
Precautions:
- Do not reuse microfiber applicators after use.
- Do not reuse the wipe-off towels on paint after initial use.
- Wear hand protection.
- Wear respiratory protection such as a painter's mask.
After Application Tips:
- Keep the surface dry for at least one hour after application.
- Gently wipe any water off the surface during the first 24 hours after application.
- Avoid detergents and chemicals for 5 days after application if possible.
- If it is dry and the air is clean outside, then you may park the vehicle in direct sun after application to speed the curing.
Coating Maintenance:
- The best thing to do is start using CARPRO Reset to wash with regularly. Other soaps can leave residue that temporarily messes up the beading and allows dust and dirt to stick more readily.
- Wash Mitt:
- Microfiber Madness Incredimitt (Recommended for daily drivers and most cars - This mitt is easiest to maintain and is extremely durable as well as washing out most easily).
- Merino Wool Wash Mitt (Recommended if car has extremely soft paint or car does not get extremely dirty).
- Drying Towel: CARPRO or Microfiber Madness.
- Quick Detailing: CARPRO ECH2o Concentrate and Microfiber Madness Crazy Pile towels (need about 3-6 towels).
- Occasionally (every 3 to 6 months) decontaminate the surface with CARPRO Iron X. Use during the wash cycle (after Reset) and as directed.
- If using CARPRO Reload as a topper, use every 3 months, for special occasions, or any time you like.

A: Basically in every way! Here’s a list…
- Version 2.0 has a much larger window for flashing, so you can wipe it off anywhere between 5 ~ 30 minutes in most climates.
- Version 2.0 is SUPER easy to wipe off and makes VERY obvious rainbow colors as it is flashing.
- Version 2.0 is more durable, rated at 2 years vs. 1 year with version 1.0.
- Version 2.0 can be applied in DIRECT SUN and in nearly any climate at all.
- *CARPRO states shelf life expectancy is 2 years unopened, and 6 months or less once opened.*
