Wash & Wax Kit

This quality kit has everything you need to wash, prep, wax and maintain your vehicle with up to a 7-10 mths of weather protection. Collinite's No. 476s Super Doublecoat Paste Wax contains the highest concentration of polymer protection to withstand the harshest elements for the longest period of time. For this reason, Collinite recommends 476s as a protective coating prior to the winter months.

Kit Contents:

  • Wash:
  1. Fill a 5 gallon wash bucket 3/4 full of cool water (3 Gallons).
  2. Use your arm to mix 1 ounce of product with the 3 gallons of water.
  3. Use a jet of water to fill remainder of bucket to activate suds.
  4. Rinse the car thoroughly to remove loose dirt.
  5. Wash from the top down using the MicroFiber Madness Incredisponge.
  6. Rinse mitt frequently.
  7. Rinse vehicle and dry with Microfiber Madness Dry Me Crazy.
  • Paint Prep:
  1. Shake Four Star Ultimate Pre-Wax Cleanser well before use.
  2. Make sure painted surface is cool, clean, and dry.
  3. Working in a 2' square area, apply 3-4 drops of product to a Microfiber Madness Waxing Moon applicator and rub into the surface.
  4. Using a clean, dry Edgeless White Polish Towel  buff until all residue is gone.
  5. Works great with a random orbital polisher, dual action polisher or rotary buffer.
    • Note: Contains refined mineral spirits. Protect from extreme heat and freezing.
  • Wax Application:
  1. Do not apply in direct sunlight and surface should feel lukewarm.
  2. Apply VERY sparingly in a thin manner to clean dry surface no larger than 2 Sq. Ft. at a time with Microfiber Madness Waxing Moon applicator

  • Precautions:
    • Store product at room temperature away from fire or flame
    • Discard product if exposed to frozen temperatures
    • Keep cap or lid on product when not in use
    • Do not alter product’s composition or original packaging in any way
    • NOT for use on Rubber, black trim, vinyl, glass or non-painted plastic
    • Use in a well-ventilated area with protective eyewear and gloves
  • Additional:
    • Applicator pads and removal towels should be clean, free of residue and changed frequently
    • Only apply to a CLEAN surface; washed, and free of blemishes, discoloration or other imperfections like swirls or scratches. A clean/properly-prepped surface will ease the application/removal process; improving spread and increasing durability of wax’s bond.
    • Do NOT apply wax to entire vehicle, or sections larger than recommended before removing, as prolonged drying or cure times may lead to wax hardening on surface; causing streaking or difficulty for some users to remove properly. User assumes risk if recommended cure times are exceeded.
    • Drying times may vary based on conditions (air and surface temperature, humidity, wind, sunlight etc).
    • Avoid applying in direct sunlight, or extreme temperatures (over 80 degrees F or less than 55 degrees F). Surface temperatures should be, or feel lukewarm-room temperature to the touch. Do not apply if surface feels cold or hot to the touch.
    • Safe to use with machine buffer if experienced. Check machine manufacturer’s speed/pad specifications for last step protective waxes that contain no cleaners, abrasives or filling agents.
    • To further maintain the look and durability of the waxed finish between wax applications, use a car wash soap that is pH neutral and gentle on the paint with no grease-cutting properties. These soaps facilitate a streak-free shine while helping to preserve the applied wax. Avoid heavy detergents or low-grade soaps.
